Milestones achieved

In 2012, we obtained the Public Declaration of the first Surf Reserve in Spain. This milestone was the result of the lobbying and technical assistance carried out during the previous years. The Cantabrian surf breaks and the coastal environment of the entire municipality of Ribamontán al Mar—Somo, Loredo, the island of Santa Marina, Langre, Galizano and El Puntal—were officially recognized by the local public administrations.
